Ahead of the 2027 general elections, leaders and stakeholders of Ward 9, Ogbia Constituency 3, Bayelsa State, have unanimously endorsed President Bola Ahmed Tinubu for a second term.
The endorsement was made during a grassroots engagement in Kolo community, where the ward also adopted all APC candidates for the district.
The candidates endorsed are Hon. Israel Sunny-Goli for Bayelsa East Senatorial District; Barr. Jude Amidator Rex-Ogbuku for Ogbia Federal Constituency; and Hon. Gabriel Michael Ogbara for Ogbia Constituency 3.
Addressing constituents, Sunny-Goli stated that political power must translate into tangible benefits for the people, pledging to collaborate with other APC candidates to deliver infrastructure, training and empowerment programmes to Bayelsa East.
He said priority would be given to business grants and financial support for women in the area.
Sunny-Goli noted that alignment with the ruling party at the federal level would fast-track federal presence and developmental interventions in the district.
He described the visit as a familiarisation tour, assuring of broader engagements once the campaign begins officially.
In his remarks, Chairman, Rural Development Authority (RDA), Kolo, Hon. Sunday Azibaokodu Oku, commended the candidates and said Ward 9 is fully united to deliver APC in 2027.
The meeting ended with a resolution by elders and party faithful to intensify voter education and mobilization for landslide victory at all levels.
