The leadership of the Ogobiri Youths Association has commended High Chief (Hon.) Emmanuel Okosikeme for his continued support for youth development in Ogobiri community.
The commendation came when the 16th President of the association, Comr. Mounkurai Oweilakeme Governor, led executive council members and the Education Management Committee on a courtesy visit to Okosikeme at his country home in Okumbiri, Sagbama Local Government Area.
Okosikeme, who is the candidate of the African Action (AA) Party for Sagbama Constituency II in the 2027 Bayelsa State House of Assembly election, was appreciated by the youths for his numerous interventions in the community.
The association also expressed gratitude for his substantial financial support to the Electoral Committee and to candidates during its 2026 general elections.
In his remarks, Mounkurai, on behalf of the youths, thanked Okosikeme for his generosity, describing him as a worthy elder brother, and offered prayers for the success of his future endeavours.
During the visit, the youths solicited financial assistance for their education programme. In a swift response, Okosikeme approved and disbursed N700,000 for the purpose.
The youth president confirmed that the sum has been received.
