First Lady of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, Senator Oluremi Tinubu, will on Friday, October 23, 2026, inaugurate the Abuja Headquarters of the PBAT Door-to-Door Movement.
The inauguration ceremony, slated for 3:00 p.m. in Abuja, is considered a major step towards strengthening the movement’s nationwide grassroots mobilisation for the re-election of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu in the 2027 general election.
The disclosure was contained in a press statement signed on Tuesday, October 21, 2026, by the National Coordinator of the movement, Comrade Sunday Adekanbi Asuku.
According to the statement, the Abuja office will serve as a strategic centre for coordinating activities in the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) and supporting the movement’s national mobilisation programme.
The PBAT Door-to-Door Movement is convened by High Chief Government Oweizide Ekpemupolo, popularly known as Tompolo, who serves as its Grand Patron.
Comrade Asuku said the inauguration would reinforce the organisation’s determination to build a strong and effective grassroots network capable of reaching voters across the federation.
“The movement is committed to taking the message of President Tinubu’s Renewed Hope Agenda directly to Nigerians through community-based engagement and sustained mobilisation,” he said.
He explained that the movement’s strategy is anchored on direct citizen engagement, with members and coordinators expected to take the President’s message to households, markets, workplaces, religious centres and other gathering points across the country.
Since the commencement of its activities, the movement has expanded across several states including Katsina, Borno, Kano, Taraba, Nasarawa, Kogi, Lagos, Oyo, Yobe, Bauchi, Kwara, Gombe and Ondo, with over 300 campaign vehicles and equipment distributed to support mobilisation.
Giving details, the movement said in Katsina, coordinators were inaugurated across the state’s 34 Local Government Areas with 34 vehicles deployed, while in Borno, 44 vehicles alongside public-address equipment were deployed. In Kano, 50 vehicles were provided for the 44 LGAs, while 25 vehicles each were deployed to Taraba, Nasarawa and Kogi states.
Similarly, in Kwara State, 34 vehicles were deployed during the inauguration of its state chapter in Ilorin, while in Gombe, 26 vehicles were deployed across 11 LGAs and 13 local development areas. In Ondo State, 26 vehicles were also deployed.
Across these states, Tompolo has charged coordinators to intensify engagement with registered voters and work towards translating support for President Tinubu into votes at the polls.
The statement added that the movement’s mobilisation programme is focused on communicating the policies, initiatives and achievements of the Tinubu administration in the areas of infrastructure, education, healthcare and economic reforms, while encouraging citizens to make informed decisions ahead of the 2027 polls.
“The inauguration of the Abuja office is therefore expected to strengthen the coordination of these activities and provide an institutional base for advancing the movement’s national objectives,” Asuku said.
The PBAT Door-to-Door Movement said it is working towards establishing structures across the 36 states and the FCT, extending through local government areas, wards and polling units, and invited members, supporters and stakeholders to participate in the inauguration.
