The P-BAT Door-To-Door Movement says it has concluded arrangements for its nationwide flag-off of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s re-election campaign, with a mega rally scheduled to hold in Yenagoa on August 19.
South-South Coordinator of the Movement, High Chief Pastor Reuben Clifford Wilson, disclosed this on Saturday during a meeting with the Bayelsa State Chapter of the group at its Zonal Office in Yenagoa.
Wilson, who is the Ebimobowei I of Koluama Kingdom, Founder of the Pastor Reuben Initiative for Good Leadership and Accountability, PRIFGLA, and a member of the Governing Council, University of Uyo, said the Movement will hold simultaneous mega rallies across the 36 states and the Federal Capital Territory, FCT.
He said the South-South rally will be hosted in Bayelsa, adding that the zone has set a target of securing total victory for the President in the region.
According to him, the Movement is intensifying mobilisation across wards and communities in the six states of the South-South to ensure success at the polls.
Wilson further disclosed that the Grand Patron of the Movement, High Chief Government Oweizidei Ekpemupolo, popularly known as Tompolo, has directed mass mobilisation of eligible voters nationwide for the flag-off exercise.
He said the Grand Patron has provided the needed support to mobilise supporters across the country for the re-election bid.
Wilson commended Tompolo for his commitment and financial support to the Movement.
He added that logistics, mobilisation strategies and stakeholder engagements across the South-South have been reviewed ahead of the August 19 flag-off.
